A: You can use the databases on the on-campus computers connected to the internet or your computer connected to the campus networks (keiomobile2, CNS, etc.)

Q: What do I need to use computers on campus?

A: ITC account issued by ITC (except SFC, apply for it ITC) or a CNS account (for SFC only) is required.

Q: Can I use the databases at home?

A: If the database has the symbol, you can access it from your home with keio.jp (Keio ID) or the VPN connection provided by the Shonan Fujisawa ITC. Please refer to Remote Access to Library Resources for details.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of users?

A: Sometimes, there is a limit to the number of users for specific databases. Staying connected to the database may prevent others from using it. When you finish your search, please remember to click signs such as Logout, Logoff, Exit, Finish Session, etc. If you close the browser window, sometimes you may stay connected.

Q: The link for the database does not appear.

A: Off-campus access is not allowed for some databases. The link for the database does not appear for such databases. If “塾外 Outside” appears in an orange box, please reaccess it from https://auth.lib.keio.ac.jp/db/.

Q: I cannot connect to databases.
