The Keio University Media Centers have agreements to make journals and books available online. The full text can be viewed in PDF or HTML text format, and some allow full-text search.

Find E-journals​ and E-books

E-journals and e-books are bound by the terms of use set forth by agreements between Keio University and the providers. Please read the following thoroughly before using e-journals and e-books.

Notes on Use​

The following are strictly prohibited by the providers: 

1. Downloading large amount of data, such as an entire content a journal, at once
2. Transferring data to a third party without any consent or permission​
3. Using for non-academic purposes
4. Alteration of original content without permission, as well as public distribution​
5. Intensive access to a particular e-journal in a short time​

If any of the above is confirmed, the provider may temporarily suspend the service to the Keio University.
We will identify the person who made the unauthorized access, and give him/her a strong warning, or take legal action when necessary.

Attention

There are particular softwares, applications, or add-ons that enable large-amount downloads at once.
Some citation-management softwares are equipped with function of multiple downloading of PDF files.
Those may cause intensive access unintentionally.

Please watch out for link prefetching of your browser, for it may cause the problem as well.
